March-April Portfolio Update

It has been about a month and half since the last update. Stocks.cafe's return were a lil buggy but Evan sorted it out, and there wasn't a lot of transactions on my end.

Portfolio Returns: 3.13%-> 2.6%

STI: 4.49%-> 8.21%

S&P: -1.56%-> 3.51%

Tracker (HSI-like): 0.41%-> 0.97%

It looks like STI and S&P did far better so far while my portfolio is struggling a fair bit.

Sold calls on Crocs and lost out gains from 85$ and above. The only reason why I was selling calls on Crocs was because I got few ideas left for the options portfolio. So I lost a few thousands USD of gains. Nothing new.

Started accumulating a modest amount of XiaoCaiYuan. It does not feel like it has management issues (i.e. it is the economy, or more specifically, consumerisum weakness). Dividend is on the high side, which is prone for reduction on further economy weakness. That explain why accumulation is 'modest.' Price/CF is not on the high side.

Increase position on Anta Sports using synthetics because I think it is on the cheap side.

I might have forgotten to mention that I have sold out of Manulife US Reits. The office space and valuation could be way more overvalued in the past than I imagined. Market pricing in recent days reflect the same sentiments.

Slight increase in MNRO and Goldlion. Really running out of ideas.

Completely sold out on ACIC due to call options as well. Not my own bred and born idea so it was not emotionally-difficult to sell.

Mum's blood pressure seems to have elevated to 155-60 region recently and I am worried... catarract surgery coming up in a matter of days :(

See you next month.
